Job Number: R0059939Cybersecurity Test Engineer, JuniorKey Role:Analyze the design, development, and implementation of testing methods and equipment. Plan and arrange the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provide a test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Maintain responsibility for testing all customer samples and special tests that cannot be performed in the test area. Leverage the limited use or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts. Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
Basic Qualifications:-1+ years of experience in the Cybersecurity field, including coursework-Experience with the Linux command line-Active Secret clearance-HS diploma or GED-Security+ Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Additional Qualifications:-Experience with programming in one or more of the following: C, C++, Bash, Python, or Java-Experience with virtualization-Experience with penetration testing or adversarial emulation-Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools, including Kali Linux, Wireshark, and Tripwire, Burpsuite, and Metasploit-Knowledge of networking-Knowledge of current Cyber threats and how to appropriately harden a system to prevent them -Ability to travel up to 10% of the time-BA or BS degree-CEH Certifications or similar
