LOCKHEED MARTIN CORPORATION
Responsible for the sale of Derco products and services to assigned accounts and territories. Makes and develops contacts with existing and potential customers. Analyzes existing and anticipated customer requirements and promotes consideration of Derco products and services to fill such requirements. Participates in the preparation of sales plans and campaigns, business plans, and product and proposal development plans. Travels, conducts sales presentations. Maintains up-to-date and accurate contact records. Maintains technical proficiency and consults with prospective customers regarding use of Derco products and services. Works with internal departments to help facilitate quoted prices and delivery dates, proposal development, and demonstrates and provides instruction on the use of products. Keeps informed of new products and other information of interest to customers. Investigates new applications or improvements to products. Provides marketing intelligence to management, leads strategic development plans, participates in sales forecasting, and is the overall subject matter expert for assigned territory.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college, 9 years of professional sales and business development experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters-Business Administration degree. Considered an emerging authority.
Fluent in French or Arabic
Multi-lingual capability in French and Arabic
Experience working in the Middle East
Travel experience throughout the Middle East / N. Africa
Aerospace Experience with emphasis on distribution, supply chain management, or technical services
