Job Number: R0052825Release and Incident Management AnalystKey Role:Plan, communicate, and coordinate complex releases that comprise of cross-functional teams and a multitude of interrelated and independent application and infrastructure changes. Maintain up-to-date and relevant playbooks and documentation in support of the release. Coordinate resources and schedules for all release activities and maintenance weekends. Serve as an escalation point to manage the timely resolution of all critical or complex problems across the various platforms in all environments, including prompt and detailed communication to stakeholders while managing expectations with senior management. Support the incident management process and serve as an incident manager from inception to closure. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical staff and facilitate communication and testing across all IT service areas, including application teams, help desk, infrastructure, network, and security. Serve as the primary point of contact for release and incident management across the entire IT enterprise reporting to senior management.
Basic Qualifications:-4+ years of experience with system analysis supporting software or infrastructure releases-Knowledge of software development life cycles, including waterfall or agile-Ability to effectively lead and partner with various levels of the organization to define and execute cross-functional technical initiatives or service delivery processes-Ability to work under pressure and quickly respond to incidents and requests in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude-Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision-Ability to effectively and articulately interact with CIO-level staff-Ability to create and foster one-on-one relationships with key stakeholders-Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends-Ability to obtain a security clearance-HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:-Experience with CMMI, ITIL, or other IT processes-Experience as a technical lead or with software development-Experience with IT coordination, communications, incident, or release management-Experience with managing and coordinating the activities of multiple project teams-Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills-BA or BS degree
