Job Number: R0048233Site Reliability EngineerKey Role:Maintain responsibility for the design, deployment, and maintenance of production-scale systems. Provide innovative solutions to develop or improve the automation of maintenance and recovery of complex, integrated systems using leading edge technologies. Measure, monitor, and maximize availability, efficiency, and performance of live services, applications, and systems continuously. Apply expertise in extensive technical work. Develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Coordinate with engineers and developers at all levels to evaluate and evangelize SRE tools, processes, and concepts.
Basic Qualifications:-Experience with federal IT systems, engineering and administration, virtualization, DevOps project development, information security, or quality assurance-Knowledge of maintaining the integrity and security of servers and desktop systems-TS/SCI clearance-HS diploma or GED-Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliance Certification, including Security+ CE within 30 days of hire
Additional Qualifications:-Experience with Linux systems administration, including CentOS or RHEL-Experience in development with Java, Bash, Python, or Ruby-Experience with dynamic orchestration schedulers, including Kubernetes or OpenShift, Apache Mesos, Pivotal CloudFoundry, or Docker Swarm-Experience with configuration management tools, including Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet and extending these tools with custom-developed plugins-Experience with logging and metrics aggregation tools, including Elastic, InfluxDB, Grafana, Kibana, or DataDog-Experience with continuous monitoring tools, including Kibana, SolarWinds, and Splunk-Experience with working in Agile or DevOps environments-BS degree in CS or a related field
