Job Number: R0057251Software and Systems Design Analyst, JuniorKey Role:Identify stakeholders’ business and system requirements and translate and decompose those needs into actionable software requirements, test criteria, and scenarios. Support solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope. Contribute to the completion of routine technical tasks.
Basic Qualifications:-1 year of experience with Tier 1 help desk support for managing user requests and bug and deficiency reporting-Experience with maintaining deployed software capabilities troubleshooting, configuration updates, and patching-Experience with planning and executing periodic recapitalization efforts-Experience with Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs)-Experience with system architecture and engineering, IT systems design, testing, IT COTS software, or hardware integration-Knowledge of enterprise IT computing environments, including technologies, processes, and security-Knowledge of designing and implementing development, test, and production environments and technology trends potentially for the application of current and emerging technology solutions to meet client requirements-Top Secret clearance-Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree by Fall 2019-Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Additional Qualifications:-Knowledge of Agile development methodologies-Knowledge of the project management framework-Knowledge of agency or intelligence community (IC) and IT infrastructures-Ability to problem-solve to provide technical assistance to IT development teams-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managers-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
