JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The individual operates as primary account management contact with customer account; with a focus to improve economic profitability; increase customer loyalty; secure retention; and drive value expansion;
act as trusted partner to existing customers;
build promoters and achieve targeted retention rate;
manage and drive development of accounts according to strategic account plan;
support first line implementation and customer training;
deliver first line support and technical troubleshooting;
coordinate order; delivery and billing;
Major Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System. Responsible for increasing utilization/cartridge usage/Menu expansion;
ensure instrument analytical turnaround time (uptime/repair/maintenance);
conduct customer business review on periodic basis;
manage customer relationship and thoroughly plan; prepare and follow up customer visits;
identify customer training requirements;
coach customers and share knowledge;
identify and resolve customer pain points
replenish and control inventory;
build image and brand in eyes of customer;
sell or reinforce Abbott’s total solution value offering;
identify/open door for opportunity to expand offering into other departments;
customer consumables management;
new assay launch and applications;
Value Creation and Expansion:
free of charge control; and menu expansion;
lifecycle management of product;
service cost management;
management of inter-client relationships;
develop Key Opinion Leaders;
Analytical Turn Around Time:
assay availability and performance;
instrument installation & commissioning;
first line level service/fixes;

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Skill, Education, Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (1-4 years) required.
5+ years relevant experience with instrumentation utilized in a laboratory environment, or directly in a laboratory environment, field service or technical call center to include:
experience providing technical product application and/or hardware support;
experience interfacing with customers;
strong people management and communication skills;
trouble shooting/problem solving skills;
shows ability to prioritize independently;
demonstrated sales skills;
commitment to customers;
basic application know-how;

In India, CHAI’s Sexual Reproductive Health program is working towards improving access to family planning, safe abortion and post abortion care services in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Key aspects of the project include supply chain management, capacity building and community engagement.
The Sexual Reproductive Health program is looking for an Associate who can shoulder the dual responsibilities of working closely with the Program Manager on project strategy and leading a significant part of the program’s on-the-ground implementation. The Associate would be involved in defining our strategy and outputs, developing clear operational plans, and continually identifying opportunities for CHAI to add value and maximize impact. The Associate will interface heavily with stakeholders, including MoH leadership, health providers, and other NGOs, to ensure smooth progress of the SRH program.
The role will require an entrepreneurial mind set and a high level of self-motivation. A structured problem solver with an ability to handle multiple tasks while proactively identifying risks to the work-streams would make for a strong Associate candidate.
+ Lead the development of innovative approaches and tools while working closely with the team in Madhya Pradesh and Delhi
+ Design, pilot and evaluate key interventions in collaboration with the State Government and CHAI team in Madhya Pradesh
+ Track overall program execution and modify approach / work-plan, as needed, to meet program objectives
+ Proactively identify and manage key risks and dependencies to meet program objectives in stipulated timelines
+ Support the teams in Delhi and Madhya Pradesh, as needed, to ensure timely delivery of project artefacts
+ Ensure proactive and timely documentation on program impact and timely communication on progress to internal and external stakeholders
+ Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders in state government, international partners, donors and NGOs, and ensure maximum coordination of resources and effort
+ Manage project-wide outputs related to reporting, compliance and updates
+ Bachelor's degree with exceptional work experience; MPA, MBA or other relevant professional degree plus 5+ years work experience preferred
+ Excellent problem solving, analytical (qualitative and quantitative) and communication (written and verbal) skills
+ Experience in the planning and execution of large scale projects
+ Experience structuring and leading evidence-based decision making
+ Proven commitment to work and willingness to go above and beyond
+ Willingness to travel if required and at short notice, particularly to Bhopal and areas in rural MP
+ Experience managing a team and working with the government is highly preferred
