Play a key role in the management of the program management office (PMO)s risk program and perform risk analysis studies for software development projects in support of a DoD agency. Investigate any incidences that may result in asset loss and compile findings in reports for further review. Analyze the creation of PMO-level risk management processes, procedures, templates, and guidance, including risk management plans and candidate risk templates. Present key risks and issues to management in the form of oral and PowerPoint briefings, serve as a risk subject matter expert (SME), and train PMO staff on risk management practices. Assist staff with the development, management, and resolution of risks and issues. Prepare high-level risk input for recurring program-level and enterprise-level reporting and maintain the program-level risk register.
-5+ years of experience in a professional work environment
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Experience as a risk manager or risk analyst
-Knowledge of general risk management practices
-Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam
-BA or BS degree
