Deliver strategic communications to federal agencies supporting the DoD, especially in the areas of law enforcement, border security, or international programs. Support the client and project team in the development and implementation of innovative strategic communications in a range of areas, including strategic communications planning, program development, digital communications, materials development, media relations, campaign evaluation, and stakeholder outreach. Lead small teams in the implementation of communications plans and tactics. Develop a variety of clear and concise communications products and materials for internal or external audiences. Research subject matter to develop required communications content and materials. Support the client mission by applying creative problem-solving and entrepreneurial expertise, including ensuring the delivery of assigned tasks on time with excellent quality standards.
-3+ years of experience with strategy and program management
-Ability to lead small teams of staff members in the execution of key communications tasks
-Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the company and client
-Ability to effectively communicate using social media and e-mail
-Ability to work independently and in teams
-BA or BS degree
-Experience with working in the justice and homeland security areas
-Experience in working with a diverse audience, including students and the international community
-Ability to display creative thinking and provide innovative solutions to clientsâ communications challenges and problems
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
